Tummy time!

Tea and Tummy! 

Every time you have a cup of tea today (or coffee or hot choc or water if you are making the healthiest choices) try and engage your stomach muscles for a few seconds. 

Take a deep breath in, pull all your core muscles in slightly. Imagine you are wrapping a tight corset around your middle. You want to try and pull your stomach muscles towards your back slightly and your back muscles towards your stomach slightly without really moving.

 

Now try and hold and breathe for 5, 10, 20 seconds..as long as you can. It's a great way to gently strengthen your core and timing it to do with your cuppa is a good way to remember to actually do it! 

I drink ALOT of tea so my core will be well and truly activated doing this! Good luck..a work out for your memory as well as your core!
